Hi Everyone!
Sleep is a great thing. It is especially pleasant to watch kids contentedly lose a bit of their vast supplies of energy to the Sandman. In order to move children to that point, Mom, Dad, or in the case of this song, “Grandpa” can spin wild tales into a gentle but exciting sedative. As a young grandson or granddaughter gets into bed and asks for a final bedtime story, the storyteller at their side must pull their experiences together into a fantastical tale to delight and amaze.
This lullaby, “Teddy Bears and Rocking Chairs” gives a glimpse into that scene that leads “into the world of dreams…”
